To ensure that Sticky Notes opens automatically when you start Windows, you can add it to the startup programs. Here’s how you can do it:

Open the Run dialog:
- Press
Win + R on your keyboard.

Open the Startup folder:
- Type
shell:startup and press Enter. This will open the Startup folder.

Add Sticky Notes to the Startup folder:
- Open a new File Explorer window.
- Navigate to
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes_<version>\.
- Note: The
<version> will be a specific version number of Sticky Notes installed on your system.
- If you have trouble finding the exact path, you can right-click the Sticky Notes icon in the Start menu, select “More,” then “Open file location.” This should take you to the shortcut. Copy this shortcut.
- Copy the shortcut of Sticky Notes and paste it into the Startup folder you opened in step 2.

Open Task Scheduler:
- Press
Win + S and type Task Scheduler, then select it from the search results.

Create a new task:
- In the right-hand Actions pane, click on
Create Task.

Configure the task:
- General tab:
- Give the task a name like “Open Sticky Notes on Startup.”
- Triggers tab:
- Click
New, set the trigger to “At log on”, and click OK.
- Actions tab:
- Click
New, set the Action to “Start a program”.
- In the “Program/script” box, type
explorer.exe.
- In the “Add arguments (optional)” box, type
shell:appsfolder\Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App.
- Click
OK.

Save the task:
- Click
OK to save the task.
Now, Sticky Notes should automatically open whenever you start your computer.
