BASED ON THIS SKETCH. We need to come up with some concept art images / renders for a trophy design.
The trophy is for the Player of the match for a football world cup. However what’s unique is this is going to be 3d printed / fabricated in three phases.
Phase 1: central core (shown in blue) that’s structural and prefabricated ahead of time. This layer should be a blue plastic type material and will be revealed by etching into / carving away the outer layer (white).
Phase 2: additional material (potentially aluminium, potentially anodised white) (shown in blue) that is wrapped around the core, a beautiful generative / fluid / sweeping / parametric design. Phase 2 is also prefabricated ahead of the match.
Phase 3, this final phase is ’ embossed / engraved / cut into / lasered into’ (the final method of fabrication is up for debate at the moment) but crucially the design of which is informed by realtime data coming from the match live (goals, possession, red cards, passes, player activity etc.) with only about 10-20mins of time to print at the end of the match once the MVP has been determined. We’re imagining this etching / cut away will be done by some sort of multi axis robot arm.
Finally there may be some sort of insert / standard cap (shown in red) that is added to the final sculpture, which could include info, player name, number etc.
For the image:
Don’t include any text.
The trophy should not have any figure / human elements.
Don’t explode the trophy, make it a single object. Don’t do multiple views.
